i keep myself sane by making post-exam plans:
do
pack all my notes into nice labelled files
learn driving
learn rock-climbing
learn diving
exercise
plan class gathering - bake party? movie marathon? food fiesta? round-singapore-eating-marathon?
plan mentors' gathering
bowl
post-honors gathering with non-psych friends
touch base with *everyone*
plan my vacations - if that's going to happen
hear
enjoy once again the pleasure of visiting the botanic gardens on weekends, lazing on the grass
and bishan park (but not where there's dog poo)
see
film fest movies
camp/retro movies i've bought but haven't had time to watch yet
read (technically see + do)
all the books i've bought and carefully accumulated over the years: history of western philosophy; fight club; the princess bride; gore vidal stuff; any human heart...
my plans this time round - compared to last year - are far more broad, far less detailed. i guess it's a reflection of where i'll be in a few days' time. the road ahead is unclear, but sure. somewhat like what billy boyd sang:
home is behind
the world, ahead
and there are many paths to tread..
