random thought

was just thinking about a chapter in 'the art of travel' where it talked about a man who was intent on exploring the world just once. so finally he packed his bag and made his way to the nearest port. there, he visited the pub.

after the visit, he decided that there was so little need for him to see the world after all (cos all he needed was in books and in his mind?) that he promptly went back home and never left his house ever again.
