thoughts: too many to list down.

a hundred thoughts flowing through my mind right now: family, friends, work, music, movies, things, travel, books, love... the eternal quest to do everything and be something and be nothing and just be, all at the same time.

it's the new year now, a fresh start, at least from a purely cursory, random perspective (after all, the new year could start on 3rd jan, or 17th mar, or any other date for that matter - why the 1st?)

so many possibilities, so many random paths, so many 'what-ifs', all waiting to be found, to be trod on. what will lead to happiness, what will lead to grief?

but i comfort myself - nothing's gonna change my world... nothing's gonna change my world... this doesn't mean we don't change, and it doesn't mean we refuse to absorb the experiences around us. it could simply mean we've already accepted change as part of our world, and just wrap change around our principles.
