is there a way to leave the madness, the irrationality, the stupidity and the sorrow that all comes with being a member of the human race, behind? after 4000 years of recorded human history, with all purported, reported, and supposed, advances in sociology, philosophy, economics and psychology, the sheer incredibility of the illogicity that exists in us is, frankly, unbelievable.

and it remains in me. it's a sobering thought.
