it's a lazy thursday afternoon, and i'm whiling my time away reading my cognition readings (okay, so this can't *really* considered whiling the time away..), listening to music (a definite distraction) and clearing my email account (96% filled). i scrolled lazily down my folders, and saw one called 'wild mentoring' which i hadn't opened in a long time. it's filled with emails from various mentors, details, rants, announcements and so on. i wonder why i named it so, but i guess it was cos everything really was like a massive emotional roller-coaster then, filled with laughter, madcap antics, outings, my dear kids, tears, and song.

i wish life was as simple now as it was back then... just sitting in the back of nor's van as it rumbled around singapore, the small hastily attached fun whirring away and not doing much to alleviate the stifling heat, listening to siti switching between radio stations in the front seat, buying cakes at half price during store closing times, lazing at east coast on the breakwaters..
