No time to re-fix up my cable connection so I've been suffering with my laptop's tiny keys this past week. It's been awful tiring as well, after getting home from work, dumping the laundry in the wash and doing some scrubbing for stains and such, I don't even find the strength and energy to read the papers - let alone blog.

Add to that mix: one ex-mentee who's been messaging me and calling me to... I dunno how you describe it. He doesn't even -moan and groan about his life because he literally has nothing to moan and groan about - his life just passes by him day by day. Needless to say I'm just exasperated when this happens. Friends messaging me about anything under the sun - and during office hours too. Friends calling and speaking in disjointed sentences and incoherently. Sorry people, you can message, but don't expect a reply - I don't stop moving between the hours of 9-1pm and 2-9pm (1-2 is for me to collapse in the staff lounge - IF I squeeze out time to go there to nap). Planning for mentoring sessions when I don't even have time to think - let alone go out and buy the necessary materials.

Some friends have been encouraging though. XP did up nice pasta with bacon bits today at her place... first time I really polished off any Italian food (with the exception of pizza)... other than that, it's been a mad mad mad rush from one weekend to the next...
