Websites checking out now:
i) This hostel - The InnCrowd - was featured in today's Sunday Life! section
ii) Link sent to me by Xiaowei - The Canto version of Candy Lo's Zi Shao Zou De Bi Ni Zao - it's Hao Xin Fen Shou (but I don't know how it's pronounced in Cantonese.

Next few food stops on my list:
After being pretty satisfied with Jalan Besar Dim Sum this evening (forgot the name of the place though, although I'll remember that it's just opposite the Mc's there from now on) -
i) One of Us 'Lok Lok' at 697D East Coast Road (it's at Siglap apparently). I passed by it last Sunday with the guys - you can't miss it, they've sawn off the front part of a van and made it part of the facade - but didn't have an inkling whether it would be any good or what it sold. It's reviewed in the lastest issue of 8 Days.
ii) Brewerkz for Sunday Brunch, with the guys. Although now we're wondering whether it even opens on Sundays - the latest issue of IS seems to suggest that it isn't.
iii) Marmalade Pantry - for my Eggs Benedict again
iv) Foster's English Tea House - scones scones!
v) Breakfast at the Botanic Gardens place - which my parents have visited time and time again

Books reading now:
Alain De Botton's 'The Art of Travel' (travel), Yann Martel's 'Life of Pi' (fiction). Part of a half dozen books Yini helped buy for me at a discount from Borders a fortnight ago. There's still 'The Other Wind' by Ursula LeGuin (fantasy) , 'You've got to be kidding, Mr Feynman!' by said person (physics and autobio), 'History of Western Philosophy' by Bertrand Russell (philo), and 'Uncle Tungsten' by Oliver Sacks (chemistry).

Movies aiming to go soon, as well as this year:
After flipping through 8 Days...
i) The Matrix Reloaded (May) and Revolutions (November)
ii) Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King (December)
iii) Turn Left, Turn Right (June) - starring Takeshi Kaneshiro and Gigi Leung, adapted from the book of the same title - although I thought it was called 'A Touch of Sunshine' in English.. missed the trailer which was shown today though.
