I've finally come to realize the dignity of work this semester. Fair enough, I've suffered and starved and complained incessantly throughout this semester about the drivel I have to churn out, but at the end of it all, it has been the only thing of value - however little - that I've done or created or seen or heard or experienced this semester. Save for that stomach-churning accident my kid went through. But take that out, and after some consideration, my whole life these past few months would otherwise have been fairly worthless. The accident sobered me to the reality that is life; work, a temporary respite.

One Moment In Time
Give me one moment in time
When I'm racing with destiny
Then in that one moment of time
I will feel... I will feel eternity
