The first ARTS (Advance Research Training Seminars) went pretty well (but not without a hitch), but got really really tired in the process running up and down NUS... fell asleep whenever I had the oppourtunity to do so. But it was a memorable experience, got to know some of the department staff and other students.. glad to be able to put more than a face to a name. Ah well, the next round of madness begins... I've already gotten a blister, peeled skin and sores from today's deathly boring duty involving a pair of scissors and a roll of velcro tape. Pity I couldn't be at the opening ceremony at UCC though... was really looking forward to see how psychologists generally look like *LOL*

These past 2 nights have also been fantastic food nights. Dad brought us to Kampong Aram for dinner; afterwards I couldn't believe this place had slipped my notice these past 10 years - just round the corner from my place in fact! Super good zhi char... but the star of the show was the price... cowz $9 per head for 4 fab dishes... *drooling*

Well, the only thing that could top last night for this entire month would be tonight (i.e. Sunday night)... right after helping out at the psych congress, Teng treated the guys to dinner at Amiran's Cafe at Bugis (occasion being him achieving debt-free status)... dinner was followed by a birthday cake (which yours truly had arranged) for him and YM... then Earthquake at Swensen's... then Jem, Teng, Shuping (this NTU friend of theirs) and I adjourned to Geylang for hokkien mee... and then dim sum... and then tou hua... hahahahahahaha... sinfully happy.

Other interesting tidbits: Weiyang and I met Henry (my old SSS school mate and his secondary school classmate) and... he still remembered our names perfectly! Scary. How do these people remember people they haven't talked to in years?? And not close ones at that.
