Relentlessly slow week this. Plowed through 'High Fidelity' today while on MRT trains and SBS buses while off to meet a family friend, Edward, for lunch in Jurong. Other than that the most exciting thing I've done this week has been to pop by Times and grab a few books off the shelves - two advertising books by this chap Jim Aitchison, 'One Hundred Years Of Solitude' by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and Terence Conran's 'Small Spaces' - I'm into interior decorating and architecture all over again.

And Terence and I are getting a bit excited over this new book. Pity it's 40 quid though, and we can't seem to get a copy in Singapore. Yet.
