First time up to Malaysia since '97, on Sunday... drove up with a couple of family friends and had seafood at this place called Yen Garden Seafood. Then as usual, we braved the lemming-like queues at Giant Hypermart; mum got a terrible headache on the way back (now she knows how I feel every time we went upstate) so we cut short our little expedition at the end.

Stayed home today, attempting to read but ended up only making my way through 10 pages or so. Am getting fatter in all the wrong areas. Of course, now that I know I must find a supervisor for my project by the end of this month, I'd probably be spending more time running back to NUS.
