The Information Age SUCKS

Totally disgusted with anything remotely related to internet, the WWW, computer hardware and software, peripherals, etc etc. In the past one week I have been afflicted at one time or another by the following plagues - and sometimes more than one simultaneously: Mouse button not working properly; computer behaving as though it's a 386 with 4Mb RAM; Internet Explorer errors and 'Active Desktop' having to be bloody refreshed; NUS dial-up connection screwing up and not being able to log on for hours on end; Software not being able to run because of graphic errors, lack of memory, DOS mode etc etc. The list goes on.. -_-

Speaking of 'information', have come to the conclusion that I have lots of friends who are plain, outright, dumb. I'm sorry I had to say it. True, I'm not perfect either, I've had my fair share of stupidity and bouts of temporary insanity, but some of the stuff I get from them really takes the proverbial cake. I shall not elaborate - the incidents are just far too many - but let's just say that these people would be up for the 'Darwin Awards' - they'll get it when something unfortunate happens to them and their absence generally improves the gene pool of the rest of the human race. Get with it fellas. Of course, someone pointed out to me that by sticking with them, I'm really a partner in this hideous crime. Urgh.
