I'm a bum
Have spent the last two days doing absolutely nothing after clearing four assignments in four days... went City Hall yesterday and bought a present from Ordning & Reda for a friend, as well as two books from MPH for myself - The Adventures Of Sherlock Holmes, and Norman Juster's 'The Phantom Tollbooth' - it's a children's book I've wanted to buy for years but just never got round to buying it. Also went Bugis to while my evening away at Kino.

Went down to Geylang East library today to check out books my kids could possibly like to read - and found out that it's closed till end of the month. Winz. Met one of my old mentees' Yenfen on the street though, and one of my new kids Melvin on the bus back as well, so sort of made up for the wasted trip. Spent time browsing chinese books at Popular Parkway - I just realise that many chinese books really do have nicer binding, layout, and prices than english books. Bought a very nice picture book. Umz.. any other interesting stuff... had a Chicken Big Mac at Mc's Paya Lebar today.. apparently it's a test-market kinda thing at a few branches and I was privileged enough to taste this awful bland burger. I had to pay of course...
