One of my kids has a girlfriend liao... fast worker sia... just two weeks into secondary school...

Near miss
Was jaywalking across the road from Park Lane over to Hotel Rendzevous when the strap of my bag broke, sending it crumpling to the floor in an anguished heap (and my copy of The English Patient got maimed in the process). Thankfully I kept my senses, grabbed my bag and dashed back to the pavement.
