Tue 29th January
Pretty nice day, met Yu Jim on the bus in the morning. Explored Holland Road Shopping Centre and discovered lots of interesting shops - chinese furniture, table decor, an EMF bookstore, a quaint CD shop... and the al fresco rooftop cafe has a vegetarian menu which should suit Prahlad nicely. Proly treat him there next time he's back in Singapore. Had dinner with Xuyong, Prahlad and Suiliang at Holland V KFC, talked about life and love at NYDC... Xuyong and Prahlad had their customary Singapore vs. Aussie Uni medical programme... just like old times...

Wed 30th January
Slept at 6 preparing Wen's present. Missed first lecture of the day, and proceeded to fall asleep at every available opportunity... went over Toa Payoh to see how Terence was doing with the songs (am now listening to them)... dinner with Bb at Toa Payoh. Silly sumo bento closes at 8.30. Am saddened at lack of work ethic even amidst economic recession.
