Odd thoughts
Was on my way home from my gran's and had to switch buses in Geylang Serai... amazing how packed it can be this time of year... positively puts Orchard Road to shame. Hordes had overtaken one lane of the road and were threatening to totally disrupt traffic.

An odd thought struck me then. Here were people celebrating. On the other hand, I'll be going to give Danlin some emotional support later... at her grandfather's wake.

I was thinking... we've crossed some sort of adulthood line sometime now, haven't we? Albeit an arbitrary one I guess. Suddenly it's become the duty of this generation to maintain the old rites and rituals...
