Listening to: National radio Y.E.S. 93.3 FM

Old friend: Made a trip down to Hard Rock Cafe today to check out the t-shirts. It's Kaile's 21st birthday next week and we're looking for something nice to give him. Anyway, the last time I was down at Hard Rock was at one of Wayne's gigs together with some of the other guys from School Of Ammo, and I just couldn't help but think 'Hey, it's been a long time since I saw Gurmit.' Lo and behold, when I went book browsing at Borders, guess who I met? Gurmit! He's now some hotshot producer cum art director for a .. let me see... 'advertising . call centre . design . direct marketing . production' firm. Loves his job, it pays well, so what if he works 14 hour days? Makes me wonder where my life is headed...

Words: Came across a biography of the Indian mathematician Ramanujan at Borders and spent quite some time skimming through it. I find it a tad difficult to believe that I could actually have lost my wonderment with words all this while. Well, it seemed like it after reading passages from the book. I walked around Borders, utterly fascinated with all the books around me. I wanted to just stay there and read and read and read till the cows came home.
