Listening to: Billie Myers - Am I here yet? (Return to sender)

An eventful day, to be sure. Let's see...

Lunch... with Eunice, Cindy, Weiling and Terence - Weiling treated me a drink 'cause I was so nice in helping her do two surveys - so far. Actually she wanted to treat me lunch - she tried to repay me the few bucks I spent on food - but I refused. Nice kid.

Hanging about forum... met Chin Yang and Adam. Hmm. It's really a small world.

Dinner... with Xuyong and Suiliang, at Jurong Point KFC. We met at 7pm, had dinner, camped ourselves at a playground near the flats opposite the shopping centre, and proceeded to talk about life, relationships, work, and sang lots of angsty and crazy chinese songs, just taking in the moment and having an incredibly relaxed time. Yes, we came around to talking about Pk², Suiliang's last 2 attempts to form a meaningful relationship, and how Xuyong can whoop me anytime at chasing girls - if not for the fact that his housemanship is not over and med girls are so much more eligible. Bleah.

Oh, and Yilin called me when I was out with the guys. Twice. The first time was to see whether she could borrow my stats readings tonight - I told her I'd rather photostat and pass to her tomorrow (i.e. Friday)... she went wakeboarding with her friends - Daniel and someone I can't remember - instead of being a good girl and attending her two lectures. -_- She called again some time later, said she had talked to Terence, who had told her the cause of my general coldness and pissiness to her. Trust her to forget that she was supposed to meet me last week and had to be reminded to apologise. -_- Ok, so she called to apologise on her own accord. Same difference. I was forced to alternate between being the nice, understanding friend some people get so accustomed to, and letting off steam and basically being the cold, unforgiving bastard that I am at times - although I'm still trying to figure out which part of me is the one trying to get out.

Caught the last half an hour of Great Teacher Onizuka when I got back... seems like the VCD set which I borrowed from Danlin a few months back wasn't the complete set. Hmm. Anyway, the show was excellent... sentimental and touching... in my eyes anyway. A "gggreat!" way to end a pretty nice day.

Pardon you, oh excuse me, you left your manners at the pleasantries,
blind ambition is so hard to please
look at me, I've been told I'm exceptionally ordinary...

Wrote a letter to the future asking for directions
It came back to me, return to sender
There I go, am I here yet?
There's got to be more to this, there's got to be more to this...
